Carly Wier - Managing Partner

Carly is a seasoned non-profit executive, organizer and sometimes data nerd who has worn many hats in the conservation movement in Alaska, from canvasser to Executive Director. Carly is a co-founder of the Mobilization Center and is originally from Colorado. Carly graduated with a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from University of Colorado - Boulder and her work is centered in the belief that local communities can – and will – lead the transition to a just world. 

Ean Tubbs - Chief Operating Officer

Ean is a lifelong Alaskan who has always felt strongly about advocating for Alaskan communities and has over 5 years of canvassing and campaign experience. He is a big believer in the power of one-on-one conversations and direct contact organizing. Ean is excited to use his skill set to continue this work with The Mobilization Center.

Emily Fehrenbacher - Partner and Data Manager

Emily has over 15 years of experience in Alaska politics, specializing in field organizing and data strategy. She got her Alaska start as an organizer on the Kenai Peninsula in '08, and has worked on a variety of political, ballot measure and issue campaigns, most notably the Stop Pebble Mine campaign. Raised in the Midwest, Anchorage is now home. Emily helped Carly start the Mobilization Center because she has seen that data driven grassroots organizing can make or break a campaign. 

Autumn Cantu - Rural and Indigenous Outreach Director 

Autumn Cantu is originally from Ruby, Alaska. Autumn spends her free time with her family, enjoying the outdoors and reading as much as possible. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and plans to go for her Master’s degree in Social Work as well. She has an exceptional work history with years of knowledge in training staff, establishing rapport with clients, and strategic planning. Autumn is the business owner of Cantu Tactics & Consulting (CTC), she currently works at Native Movement as an MMIWG2S Communications and Graphic Designer. Autumn has worked for The Mobilization Center in the past as a Rural Outreach Specialist and gained many skills around community civic engagement tactics. She has years of experience as a Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (TVR) Technician, Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) Project Director, and a Suicide Prevention Coordinator at Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC), where she worked for 5 years. She has also worked at Recover Alaska, as a Youth Wellness Coordinator. Autumn also worked in Galena, Alaska as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) for about 3 years at the Yukon Koyukuk Elder Assisted Living Facility (YKEALF).  Overall, she has gained many partnerships throughout her work history. Autumn is very resilient, she believes in protecting our ways of life through civic engagement, encouraging healthier social norms in communities, bridge building, and being an example for strong future generations to come.
